Fancy was from my Retirement Litter in January 2024. She was returned to me by her owners, who were having a hard time dealing with multiple bird dogs in their home at once. It was a Full Circle moment: the stars aligned, and all the pieces fell into place for me to keep her. I was struggling with being “out of the dog business,” so I jumped at the opportunity to keep her for myself. A littermate to Fancy had recently completed her detection training with Lolita at K9 Water Leak Detection. Fancy has now started her detection training with Lolita to become a Mold Detection Dog. I’m very excited for this opportunity and I’m looking forward to seeing how she progresses through her training.
